Game Changer scores lesser than Devara on First Day

Game Changer is a huge disappointment as trade expected it to score at least Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office but it did not. Currently, Prabhas, Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan and Jr NTR are the only actors to have multiple Rs 100 crore+ worldwide openers. Ram Charan has one but post Game Changer box office results, it is safe to assume that RRR had the Rajamouli and the NTR factor. And Rajamouli was coming after the Baahubali series so that also counts if you consider the massive opening.

Shankar was once a brand and his name alone could fetch respectable numbers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Malaysia, Gulf etc but after Indian 2 the brand value has been hurt. Ram Charan along with Shankar had a huge opportunity but the poor assets of the film did not create any curiosity. Also the box office numbers of North India are made to appear like this which is not the case and it will be noticeable with days to come.

It is hence safe to say that Jr NTR has bigger box office pull and his line up has made waves all across and Devara was the weakest among all. If Devara did this then others will be even bigger. Game Changer solely depends on the Hindi version now. If that does not perform it will be a loss-making venture and will end up as one of the biggest disasters of Indian Cinema. The Day 2 drops are huge and the south Indian languages are not showing good signs.
