In the era of social media, every one is a critic and every one qualifies to be one but that must be backed by claims. If I tell you that Badass Ravikumar 2025 is Bad or any other film is bad, I will state my reasons for calling it bad. The Pluses
Badass Ravikumar Trailer, Teaser and every other asset sent out a message that the film does not have any logic, is outdated and is a parody. This made the audience have very less or no expectations at all. Even the songs communicated ‘poor vfx’, ‘no storyline’ etc. This is where the audience is already convinced that the film is nothing but a spoof and hence the audience is in for the brainless ride and is prepared for.
The film boasts of dialogues like “Har superhit action se pehle, superhit dialogue jaroori hota hai“, “Kundali me shani, ghee ke sath honey aur Ravi Kumar se dushmani sehat ke liye hanikaarak ho sakti hai.” And many more, that are fun and reciting the same springs a different level of joy. The Plot and The Performances
Cast of Badass Ravikumar features Himesh Reshammiya plays Ravi Kumar, the honest police officer who does not bow down to anyone. Carlos Pedro Panther (Prabhudeva) is approached for a job and that is to steal a reel that has important information related to India’s defence strategy. Zaid Bashir (Manish Wadhwa) is from Pakistan and he wants to destroy India and hence he hires Carlos to steal the reel. The plot revolves around this and there are plots and sub-plots with a lot of songs.
Badass Ravikumar Review cast disappoints hugely, each and everyone. The cast is irritating because the comedy is not only cringe but is unfunny. A Spoof or a Parody can be cringe but has to be entertaining. This one is simply unbearable as everything is weak and the rating is driven by the music and the declaration that the film is outdated, much before its release.
What doesn’t work

The film is dull and boring. There will be comments on negative reviews that one must not judge a spoof but Badass Ravikumar is not fun. You will not enjoy it even in parts. The media hyped the film and expectations had become huge but the film has nothing to grip you. Logic can be dropped only if there is entertainment. If there was a disclaimer that said ‘do not expect entertainment’ then I probably half a star could have been increased.

The film’s opening is good but because the media hyped the film and made unrealistic predictions, it looks underwhelming. The film opened with Rs 2.85 crore nett which is a solid number for a film like this but the portals quoted Rs 7 to Rs 8 crore as opening day, few even claimed that the film has an outside chance to hit double digits and that is why this number looks disappointing. These portals or media are either paid or measure hype using social media buzz which itself can be manufactured.
