Raid 2 Movie Cast & Crew

Raid 2 (2025) features Ajay Devgn leading the film, reprising his role as Amay Patnaik conducting another IT Raid with his team of officers. Alongside Devgn, the film features Vaani Kapoor as the female lead replacing Ileana D’ Cruz and Ritesh Deshmukh as the leading antagonist in the film replacing Saurabh Shukla from the prequel. According to sources, Raid 2 movie 2025 also features Rajat Kapoor in a pivotal role.
The Raid 2 movie director is Raj Kumar Gupta who directed the prequel too. The plot of the movie is unconfirmed with several sources stating that it is based on a real-life income tax raid on a UP based politician – businessman accused of tax evasion of over Rs 100 crores. Other sources say that the film is based on Piyush Jain, a perfume trader living in Kanpur. He faced an IT Raid at his residence which led to the recovery of Rs 250 crores cash, 25 kg of Gold and 250 kg of Silver.

Raid 2 Movie Release Date

Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 Upcoming Movie 2025 is currently scheduled to release on May 1. Its first poster was released on January 6th, 2024. The poster also announced its original release date of November 15, 2024. Later, the film was postponed to 2025. A new poster for Raid 2 was released on December 3, 2024 which announced the new Raid 2 movie release date of May 1, 2025. As per our exclusive sources, the movie is going to be postponed further away from May 1, 2025 to a new release date not fixed yet due to incomplete post-production work.
Raid (2018) was a film made on a very low budget of Rs 40 crores only. Just like its prequel, Raid 2 movie budget is also expected to be very low to medium only. The movie was shot in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi for the first half of 2024. Currently, the team is not looking to release a Raid 2 new poster anytime soon. The team has not released any Raid 2 teaser video yet. The Raid 2 trailer release date is currently not known yet.
