Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2 was finally released in theaters worldwide on 18 April. The film is directed by the debutant Karan Singh Tyagi under Dharma Productions’ banner, also starring R. Madhavan, Ananya Panday and Simon Paisley Day in the leading cast. This period film set in British rule and based around the incidents of Jallianwala Bagh massacre gained huge appreciation from the critics as well as the ground audiences on its release.
