Nadaaniyan Plot: Some-what Decent

Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan) is a swimming champion and he uses his skill to secure admission in one of Delhi’s most premium colleges where only rich kids study. Pia Jaisingh (Khushi Kapoor) due to some reason, hires Arjun as her boyfriend. Arjun accepts the offer as he needs the money to fulfil his goals. Later, somehow, they actually fall in love and Arjun focuses on her goals. But later, due to something unfortunate, Pia fails to show up on D-Day and this impacts Arjun’s performance in the Debate competition. What happens next is what the film revolves around.

The Performances: A Mixed Bag

Ibrahim Ali Khan emerges as a decent performer, while he goes overboard in a few scenes with making faces that does not look appealing, he does a fair job in most parts.

Khushi Kapoor disappoints, just like her previous films and needs a lot of improvement. Her character is an important one but rather than sympathising, the audience will get irritated.

Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, Archana Puran Singh, Jugal Hansraj, Meezaan Jafri and others have lent good support and add a lot of impact to the family drama shown in the film.
