Sikandar Movie Plot: A Typical Template
To cut it short, Sanjay Rajkot (Salman Khan) is the present king of Rajkot, who is very busy and caught up in his work and has very less or no time for his wife Saisri Rajkot (Rashmika Mandanna) and due to an unfortunate incident, she loses her life. Her organs are donated to three different people and Sanjay tries to ensure that all of them are safe so that her wife’s organs live longer. In this process, Sathyaraj (Minister Rakesh Pradhan) threatens Sanjay that he will make sure that those three people do not leave any longer because he loses his son due to Sanjay. This is the main plot with a few silly fillers that are hugely disappointing.
The Problem with Sikandar Movie 2025
The heroine of the film isn’t there in the film after 30 minutes and the action and everything else in the film revolves around unknown people. In addition to the weak script and performances, this is a major roadblock. Emotions in Blockbusters like Ghajini, KGF, Baahubali, Animal work because the action revolves around family members and imagine seeing Salman Khan do all the action for strangers, seems extremely weird. These blockbusters have been mentioned here only for benchmarking. The dialogues are extremely poor and the screenplay is inconsistent.
The Technical Stuff
The film has good cinematography which makes the action look good. The background score is electrifying in a few scenes but is not very impactful in totality. Dialogues could have been better. The editing isn’t sharp as the film is too long and unnecessary. The lacklustre screenwriting steals all the limited merits of the film. The film isn’t entertaining and that’s a big issue. The songs are decent but the videos make it look very random. But to top it all, the performances are very poor and an extremely weak villain seals the fate of the film. Sikandar cast also includes Sharman Joshi, who has failed miserably, thanks to the character writing of his role.
IBO Sikandar Review Summary
Sikandar has a very routine feel to it, while the script is outdated, it would have worked if the performances were good. Cast of Sikandar Film disappoints hugely and this is why the film may or may not make it to the list of Salman Khan’s Super Hit Movies. Salman Khan definitely has the aura, the power and the screen presence to carry larger than life roles but in A.R. Murugadoss Sikandar movie he just doesn’t seem interested. Salman Khan’s Sikandar also features many other actors but the most disappointing act is carried by Sathyaraj who is the main villain of the film. When the main hero and the main villain are not interested in the film, you know the film has a huge chance to tank at the box office. The fight sequences are good thanks to the choreography and to the cinematography.
