Chhaava Upcoming Movie Cast and Release Date

Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava upcoming movie (2025) consists of an extremely talented and surprising star cast starting with Vicky Kaushal in the lead as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The actor is popular for presenting a new version of himself with every character he plays and he looks to have done the same once again by being immersed in the character of Sambhaji. As the antagonist Aurangzeb, Akshaye Khanna is a casting choice nobody could have predicted and judging by his screen presence in the trailer, he is sure to leave a mark in the hearts of the audience. 
Rashmika Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai, the wife of Sambhaji. Though she has gotten a minor screen time in the trailer, we are sure to see much more of her in the upcoming film. The Chhaava movie cast also consists of several supporting characters with names which are sure to raise our expectations like Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh and Diana Penty. Though we have only gotten a small glimpse of these talents in the trailer, their acting is surely going to elevate the quality of the film.

A Chhaava teaser video was officially released on 18th August 2024 as the first glimpse into this biopic. The team of Chhaava released several Chhaava new posters from the film giving the first look of the leading cast in the film to the fans after which the Chhaava new trailer released on 22nd January. 
The trailer hinted towards a world of visual cinematic brilliance and characters with powerful dialogues coming out of every breath. The trailer begins with Sambaji (Vicky Kaushal) referring to his father, Chhatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj as Sher (Lion) and himself as Chhaava (The son of a lion) and the trailer ends with the Chhaava fighting a lion. 
The repeated chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Bhavani”  along with an uncountable number of war scenes is enough to excite the audience for the period epic. On the other side, Akshaye Khanna appears as the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb plotting against Sambhaji and the Maratha Empire. We also get a glimpse of a dance sequence featuring Vicky Kaushal along with A.R. Rahman’s Background Score. 
As per the sources, the Chhaava movie budget is of Rs 130cr. The Chhaava movie is set to release soon on 14th February 2025 Meanwhile, the Chhaava movie ott release date is not currently known yet.
